TOPICS ON LIVESTREAM MARCH 9, 2018
- Attitudes about the right of medical professionals to mislead people in the way we would not ordinarily allow non-professionals to do. Reasons why someone would think or say: “If you’re not a medical professional, you should not say something is a cure when it’s not.” Nobody should represent something as a cure when it is not, but medical professionals should not be held to a lower standard than ordinary people. However, we need to understand why it is not everybody agrees on this topic, and some people think medical professionals should be held to a lower standard.
- Gender roles for Cockatiels. Cockatiels share parental duties. Also, you can tell which sex they are by their behavior.
- Austin Petersen is raffling off an AR-15 as part of his senate campaign. Facebook just banned him for thirty days because of that. How should people who support the second amendment respond to that?
- An article about language assessment and NDDs said a lower infant mortality leads to more neurodevelopmental disorders. That should not be. Something is wrong.
- Questions about Patreon and Steemit and Julia’s experiences with them. Also the “share-around” meme, and how it serves to profit hidden sponsors.
